Looking for transportation for yourself or a loved one?  Allow us to introduce ourselves. We're Pointe The Way LLC and our team of professionals are trained to get to know our clients.  We provide service for our clients from their door through the doors of their destination. 

We provide one way or round trip service.

We service the Suburban Metro Detroit Area. 

We assist with transportation to

TRANSPORTATION SERVICES QUESTIONS

How do I set up a ride? 

We are text friendly! Please provide the date, time and location of the pick up and drop off destination.

Can I Bring a Caregiver or Loved One?

Yes, you are welcome to bring along 2 passengers.

Will you accept insurance?

We do not bill Medicare or insurance companies. Please contact us for more information.

Do I Need to wait At the curb for my Driver?

No, our chauffer will help you from your door to the vehicle. 

If you have steps please contact us with a description and our staff can make an assessment based on the information you provide. Transportation can not assist if there is not a safe method in or out of the home. 

Do we Provide Oxygen?

We do not supply Oxygen. Please let us know if you are bringing a portable O2 concentrator or tank.

About how much will my ride cost? 

One Way Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Rates

Ambulatory – Base Rate​

$15  Weekday Business Hours

If additional assistance is needed $30

Wheelchair – Base Rate

$35 - $40 Weekday Business Hours

Weekends/Holidays (Call for Specific Pricing)

Mileage Fees

$3.75 per mile weekday Business Hours

Want an attendant to sit with you?  

*You must book this feature in advance.

We have to plan our calendar accordingly to stay on site during appointments.

​

$35.00 per hour for our transportation to stay on site until you are done with the appointment. 

To have an attendant stay with your loved one or yourself, an additional fee of $40.00 per hour will apply. We can assist with digital sign in, as well as take notes or send notes from the appointment. ​​

Airport Transportation - Please call for a quote - based upon pick up location. 

$80.00 - $90.00 for Grosse Pointe Area and Saint Clair Shores - Rates may change if it is a holiday week. For Wheelchair airport transportation please refer to the wheelchair rates above.

Transportation from Rehab or Hospitals may also change the cost, as these rides can take more time and are more open to changes. 

​

Weekend Transportation will be an additional fee, please contact us for a quote. 

​

Wheelchair rental -  $10.00 - $15.00 for the ride.
